Alwoodley Community Energy is a Community Benefit Society (a form of co-op) that  installs solar panels (and other appropriate sustainable enery resources) on community and business premises. We are a not-for profit organisation, all profits are used for running the business and community benefits.

We organise a variety of events and meetings that aim to engage our community in sustainable energy and local empowerment. These events are advertised through our newsletters, bluesky social media and the Alwoodley 2030 Facebook group and our website.

All of our directors are volunteers and so do not get paid for their services.

We do not install solar panels on domestic properties. We do install and project manage solar panel installations on community and business premises.
